The Friends of Nekhen is a group of concerned organizations and individuals, scholars and lay persons alike, which is helping the Hierakonpolis Expedition to continue its work.

Now more than ever, direct public involvement and support are essential to continuing research. Over the last few years, costs have risen steadily, accompanied by a severe reduction in federal support. Continued research is in serious jeopardy. You could make the difference. As a member of the Friends of Nekhen, you will receive copies of Nekhen News, our annual newsletter describing the expedition's latest discoveries and accomplishments.

Membership also entitles you to reduced rates on Egyptian publications. In addition, all members receive access to restricted areas of Hierakonpolis online, the Expedition's website, where the absolute latest discoveries are discussed and past issues of Nekhen News are available for download.
